An Amazon account is required to stream Atlas TV on Amazon devices like Fire Sticks and Fire TVs. If you are streaming Atlas TV at your primary residence, we recommend logging into your Amazon device with your personal Amazon account. If you are setting up Atlas TV at a rental property, we recommend creating a new Amazon account for the home to prevent guests from making unauthorized purchases on your personal account.
1. Open your phone or computer’s web browser and navigate to Amazon’s website.
2. Click “Hello, sign in Account & Lists” from the menu at the top right hand side of the screen.
3. On the sign in window, click “Create your Amazon account”.
4. Enter your account information. Detailed instructions for completing each text field are included below:
- Your Name – Enter your first and last name into this field
- Mobile Number or Email – Enter a mobile number or email address that is not associated with another Amazon account. You may be required to provide both an email address and a phone number for verification purposes, so it is important to have access to both.
- Password – Enter a strong password, six characters minimum, that uses a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, and numbers. We recommend avoiding use of the letters “I, L, and O” in your password as well as the numbers “1” and “0” as these letters and numbers are often mistaken for other characters. Atlas Networks is unable to retrieve lost passwords or access any Amazon account information so it is important to register with an email address and phone number you have access to and use a password you will remember.
- Re-enter Password – Re-enter the newly created password.
5. Click “Verify Email”. Clicking this button sends a verification message containing a One Time Password (OTP) to the email address associated with the Amazon account. Please note that it may take up to three minutes for the verification email to send.
- Reminder: This email cannot be associated with another Amazon account.
6. Copy the One Time Password (OTP) from the verification email and paste it into the text field. Click “Create your Amazon account” when finished.
7. If prompted, enter your mobile number then click “Add Mobile Number”. This sends a verification code to the phone number on the account via SMS (text message).
- Reminder: this mobile number cannot be associated with another Amazon account.
8. After entering the phone verification code, your account is complete.
